Samsung makes good cellphones. All the cellphones I've owned in my life have been Samsung ones :D
I own a Samsung Mythic, and I suffer lag input problems :\. $100 with contract at the time I bought it and my brother's Samsung Impression which is $75 with contract is faster than mine. A simple OTA update could have easily fixed this lag problem.
Undoubtedly though Samsung makes great TVs.

All the while the real Big Brother, Google, gets surprisingly little scrutiny from the American press.
Well a huge part of that reason is Google responded fairly quickly when ask and kept a smaller file.
On the other hand Apple stayed complete silent hoping it would blow over, kept a larger file and refused to respond until it got pretty out of hand. Now they got caught and press kept on them.
Google kept the press off by responding early on with their reasons and that made them happy. Apple was silent.

I have a couple Seagate drives I don't need. They are both:
250gigs capacity
Seagate Barracuda 7200.8
PATA/IDE interface
Used for backup purposes, not much actual "on" time. Tested and working.
Moving everything to larger SATA drives don't need these.
Will consider best offer. Looking for around $40 a piece.

Against what I originally said I shelled out another $3 and bought the update. Was it worth the $3? no not really. Lost the themes. As others have said the UI is over designed and not completely functional. I have noticed some missing tweets, this is NOT acceptable.
I hate his BS excuse for not having themes. "We didnt remove them, we just didnt add them. Its a whole new app".
If he's calling it "Tweetie 2", its not exactly a "whole new app". Its supposed to be Tweetie 1 with more features, and a UI refresh if thats what he wants to do. Its not supposed be be less functional than the app that came before it.

during installation a note popped up saying 'cant continue as needs 512Mb minimum'

btw, whats the verdict on ram coolers? yes/no
I borrowed a faster Mac, and used that to install to its HDD, I think it mayve had more RAM, then dumped the HD in my trusty eMac and let it boot. It wouldnt boot on 64MB though... I tried that xD

Do you have a hi-res version of that Yvonne Strahovsky wallpaper?

Hi.
After upgrading my computer and my software (from Tiger to Leopard) a strange thing happened: my Airport signal (which was the strongest before) is at the middle. But the strangest thing is that, when I open Network Preferences, my internet connection is showed as a PCI Ethernet slot 3, port 3 connection (although it shows an Airport icon); for Airport, it says it's connected but it has no IP address! I have a PCI Ethernet card, but it's not connected.
I also intalled a PCI USB 2.0 card, but I don't think it has anything to do with that.
Any ideas?

tempted...just trying to hedge my bets whether it'll be easier getting one at the trafford centre amongst the crazy people queuing up from 2am ish...knowing theyre gonna have a few hundred in stock...or whether to goto preston, where they have very little stock for tomorrow!

Has anyone had a close look at the main picture on Apple's preview page? The sender of the email in the top pane is 'Katie Lorenzo' but in the preview pane her name is 'Amy Lorenzo'. Also, the delivery time is out by almost an hour.

iPhone - i think we maybe put to much pressure for them to announce it today... i mean it still needs to be accepted by FCA and its not coming out in england until Q4! I was so excited to buy one today! and its not as if i can even buy one form the usa and unlock it because of its integration with the cingular network...god im annoyed and upset
edit: also i would say the price for hem is fair as ive never seen such truely amazing technology, i.e multitouchscreens for that price range. and storage level is great for a phone..replaces me nano and moto pebl as soon as it gets to the uk...IN LIKE A BILLION YEARS. i waited long enough for it to be announced and i saved up my money, and u just tease me apple!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone,
Two nights ago my iPhone 4 was at around 10% battery life, I plugged it in, and then in the morning found out it did not charge and was completely dead.
I tried to turn it on again to no avail. I have tried holding the home + power button, plugging into mac, trying different wires and nothing is working.
I am planning on taking into the apple store, however my phone was jailbroken. If it does not turn on will I be able to get a replacement phone?
